An Act of Kindness

Natalie Gilbert was only 13 years old, when she was invited to sing Star Spangled Banner, at an NBA game with nearly twenty thousand people in attendence.

As she started singing, her voice reached every note... Then her arm trembled, she gasped, and BOOM.... She forgets the words ... Her mind went blank... And the poor thirteen year old stood there, alone, in disbelief what was happening to her.

there in the middle ...The astonished public a threat and Booed her, leaving her more paralyzed...

Suddenly Mo Cheeks, the coach of the Portland Trail Blazers, appears at her side and begins to sing, and encouraging her, and bringing the public together. It was a priceless gestures, a beautiful one too!! And what is more incredible is that the coach was the ONLY ONE who took the initiative to go there and save this young, talented, but yet nervous child..

While others around her just watched stunned ...

This goes to Show how an attitude of leadership and solidarity, at the RIGHT TIME can make a big difference in not only helping a human being but also in changing the history of the GAME of LIFE.
