Back to Miami

Tomorrow I leave Waltham MA

after being here for two full weeks

visiting my boyfriend in his basketball

training program.

I'm happy I came,

I saw my boyfriend's living and social environment

we "roughed it out together"

helped each other out

I met some of his wonderful friends

whom also are in the basketball summer program

And best of all I had a chance to reconnect with Talita

who is a childhood friend of mine from Brasil

whom I haven't seen or talked to UNTIL NOW.

and...

Believe it or not

Reconnecting was the easiest thing

we  went back to the same friends we were

when we were little kids in Goiania

Like it was always meant to be <3

But all and all it is definitely time to bounce

bounce back to that Florida Lifestyle

on the beach, at the pool, with friends

and with my mother and father

I have missed them all very much

and I shall not be taking it for granted

While in Waltham we had many extremely boring days

Not to mention it is end of June and its been raining and cold

So two weeks is enough for me

To the Beach We Go

I said tomorrow!

Tomorrow is almost here,

and what's tomorrow you may ask?

Well tomorrow is when I take a trip down to

South Florida

(Boca Raton/Miami Beach to be exact)

with my dearest boyfriend

(Julian)

for a fun in the sun weekend.

It is a extra special weekend for us

because not only it is our first couple's trip

It is Julians's first time to Miami Beach

(Non-work Related)

and he is meeting my family for the first time.

...YIKKKESSS!...:)

Everyone is so excited and happy to meet him

and I am looking forward to..

ummm...

EVERYTHING!

I hope to come back to Washington DC

with a little sun-kissed glow :)

Well wait.... I dont know about "drink all day, play all night"

because if you know me, than you know

 I am quite the early sleeper

and an early bird,

[[[7:30am]]]

but what I do know is that I'll be in Miami Bitch!

and that weekend will be a fun-in-the-sun kinda weekend

and maybe some margaritas and Miami-Vices on deck!

I am going to visit my family and friends in South Florida

[[[Boca Raton, FL- Miami Beach]]]

and although I am looking forward to the quality time

with my mom, and cousins and my long-time friends

I AM MOSTLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SOME SUN

I cant wait to get out of the cold snow,

and bury my feet in hot sand
while toasting my body in the hot sun

 along my favorite people

There is too much to do, and so little time

I know 3 days isn't enough,

but at least I am lucky enough to finally

take off from work

and have a little vacay

in the town I know best

with the people I care the most.

But we all know, with every good thing
comes a bad.

thing in all this is....

being away from my
adorable

loving

handsome

super athletic

boyfriend

and that totally sucks, because

this is my first trip away from him
and I know I will miss him every second of the day!
Thankfully, I carry his heart with me,
EVERYWHERE I GO!
