Tomorrow is my 25th Birthday

Wait....25, that sounds so scary.

I remember when I used to think it was cool to be 25.

Well now is it just plain scary, I am half way in my 20's

I love being "in my twenties"

I don't want the next 5 years to fly on by.

Anyways, YES so August 15th, 1986

this beautiful green eyes baby was born...

ME!

in a city in Brazil called Goiania.

aka Heaven on Earth

Last year I celebrated my birthday with all my family members

in my birth city.

Surrounded by love, and the people I love the most.

This year, I am having a get together in Florida

with friends I adore,

as I get ready to leave for Belgium  2 days after my birthday.

It is a great moment in my life.

Great things to come,

as I become 25years old.

All week I have been preparing

 to make HIS day SPECIAL to HIM!
and just him!

He asked me begged me to not throw a party,

He just wanted to chill, and relax @ our home

but I followed my instinct

went ahead and planned him something nice
so he can enjoy his day
surrounded by the amazing people in his life

and the good news is...
he is ALL for it now

He can't wait to eat
and mingo with his fellow Gtowners
[[aka Georgetown University go-ers]]

His happiness complements mine
His happy, I am happy

I'd do just about anything for him

to see him smile
He deservers everything his heart desires

his the most important person in my life

and TODAY is a celebration of his life!

So in a way, it is MY day too :)

In the past, when we were kids, we usually had many best friends. Later on in life, most might not call certain friends, "best friends", anymore. However, we still know which friends we are closest with. And every so often we find a special person that brings back the meaning "best friend." from when we were kids.  And they become your real best friends, through each and every day! Well it's her BIRTHDAY today, and I hope she feels just as special and beautiful as she is everyday...

A great big smile is overdue.

A birthday can be seen as a serious or joyful time depending on one's age and one's attitude towards life. Another year has passed and we look back on failures and successes (Yay). We think about our goals for the future and reflect on the past year. These are all thoughts that may came up on a birthday, but the main thing is to use a birthday as an opportunity to celebrate life and be joyful for the chance to be with friends and family.
